Can I get some help finding out if wheels from a 1978 Hondamatic wheels would fit my 1980 honda cb750k? or what I should do to find out?
There is a guy selling those wheels for 100 bucks.

It's not a matter of finding the wheel. It's a matter of finding bearings that'll have the right o.d. and the right i.d.

Post up a want ad here on DTT. Im willing to bet someone has some Comstars they'll give ya on the cheap.

Yep, they are certainly comstars. My buddy Jared and Thomas just bought a hondamatic a couple of days ago. Same exact wheel on dohc 750s and 900s.

The early hondamatic cb750 was wire wheeled, and alloy, and bolt onto a SOHC Cb750

No idea if the comstar from a SOHC will bolt onto a DOHC, but the question i have is why?
DOHC wheels are not hard to find at all, and i cant see the upgrade or reason to spend the $100 on wheels that may or maynot work, when wheels that will are the same price or less
