Wheels for a CB350 Twin project..

Hi All,

I am putting together a CB350 Twin cafe racer and looking to lace up some Excel rims to the drum hubs. Does anyone know if stock spokes will work in this combo??

No, in the late 80's MX rims switched to a larger nipple. Only MX rims from the early 80's lace up to CB350 hubs. Newer MX rims; Excel, Moose, etc...will need custom spokes/nipples.

I make dished brass washers to use stock spokes on 'new' MX rims with oversize holes

Good idea. I already ordered some spokes from Buchanan's. Any issues with the spoke trying to pull through the Brass washer?

I haven't tried but I think spoke would snap first.
It's only about 1/2mm difference in size
