Where to buy Honda factory parts??

garagedoreen

Been Around the Block
Im doing a full rebuild on my CB550 and Im in need of a bunch of small factory parts. Ive been ordering from Bike Bandit dot com but they are a bit pricy. And at the Honda dealer the price is even more crazy. Anybody know of a better place to buy factory parts?

thanks

Depends what you're looking for.

Google Western Hills Honda - I've bought NOS parts from them myself.

if you are buyijng OEM real Honda, the dealer will be the cheapest. aftermarket, find a local bike shop that has racing experience and doesn't sell mugs, clothing and bandanas and has many different bikes out back. they will know the aftermarket parrts and prices and then you will not have to pay shipping or us exchange. i just bought cb450 steering head bearings this way; they came to slghtly less than online. and wer there in front of me.

http://hondaparts-direct.com/ is cheaper than most other Honda dealers and most OEM items on E-bay. I have used them many times and have had great service, prices and delivery time.

do you live in Canada? you'll note the disclaimer about higher prices for shipping, seems there may be extra service charges etc. form them as wella s duty etc. Do not ever accept UPS from the US, they will sting you about $45-50 withtheir fees, brokerage, etc. I once had a $50 order with about a $48 UPS fee from sonewhere else who was talked into using UPS by post boxes unlimited.
