Where To Re-Chrome In Ont?

Ok Gang,

Need some help here. I am rebuilding a '73 Daytona, and I need some parts re-chromed. Does anyone have any first hand experience with any shops in the Golden Horeshoe area? What shop(s) do good work, price, turnover etc. What shops to stay away from....etc etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had my motorcycle parts chromed. I'm sure you could go local but I went by reputation and quality. I used Chrome Masters (http://www.chromemasters.com/). Basically it's what OCC uses. Prices are high for chroming in general but it was still better than other competitors like Brown Plating (http://www.brownsplating.com/).

I think my total for valve cover, left engine cover, right engine cover, logo cap, and timing cap came to around $400 something. Turn over was 3-4 weeks. Only bad part.

if its alloy i say polish it! way cheaper, deeper finish. harder work though. also chrome is more weight!
