I'm in Royal Oak and I too can't wait for warmer weather. If the bike is ready, count me in!

I'm in SCS too and am frantically trying to get my bike together in time for the weather to turn…two months or so left…

sweet, how far along are you on your build and what is it? did you start a build thread here at all?

Looks good, now we just need some decent weather to get riding...

I just started the project about 2 weeks ago, but i have had the bike(s) for a while. I started with an uncle's cb360 which had been sitting since 82' and I purchased for the whopping cost of trading an old tipman paintball gun with his son. I then bought an almost complete parts bike from someone out in white lake for real cheap.

The original plan was to use the parts between the two and create one running bike, but plans change and my ebay account has been busy the last few weeks. I now have enough parts to build two complete bikes, one with almost everything new (mine) and one with stock parts (wifes?).

The stock bike is together and I actually rode it around a little this weekend. The other bike is in pieces and I have to finish up welding a few things so I can paint it and start putting everything back together...

Great to hear I'm not the only one in SE Michigan who is tired of being locked indoors!

I'm in Royal Oak. Anyone up for meeting up for a beer and trading some sketches and ideas?

What are all you guys doing way out east? I'm in Ann Arbor and always surprised how few DTTers are from the Ace Deuce. Be sure to ride up to Ypsi some time for one of the meets at the Cafe Racer shop.

If I can get my bikes back on the road, I'll be heading out there as soon as weather permits. 8 inches of snow to melt and a few hours of wrenching and we'll be good to go!

lol, it got to 35 yesterday here, and I was SERIOUSLY considering taking the bike out... it's an addiction I swear. I can quit anytime though ;D

I've been riding regularly since it hit the mid thirties!

I think I am headed to school on the bike tomorrow! 9 am better be above freezing!

Been out the last few days. Amazing how much better riding can make you feel. Good therapy!

it really is. after all winter of not skateboarding on riding a motorcycle i developed quite the anxiety. and it isnt like "oh man i have anxiety i think, haha" but "i really have bad anxiety and depression from it. i need to go on meds"

im also a text book hypochondriac "once again, not that hehe im a hypochondriac sometimes, lol" but a real life chemical imbalance hypochondriac. it sucks. especially being a tattoo artist and being around peoples blood all day.

but motorcycling and skateboarding removes all those thoughts temporarily for me.
