Wider rims on a stock '74 CL360?

Hi everyone!

I just bought a 1974 CL360, and I am interested in at least making the rear tire wider (and also maybe the front.) I am new to working on motorcycles, but from what I've read, I understand that putting a wider tire on the stock rim negatively affects how the bike handles, so I want to go with a wider rim. My question is: what is the widest rim and tire I can put on the bike without it rubbing? Can I even put a wider rim on the stock bike without it causing any problems? It seems like there are some pretty tight spaces around the tire as-is.

Thank you all in advance!

2.15 would be good front and back, with slightly wider tires than stock, anything more will be a negger on the handling

The 360 front fender has slightly less lateral clearance vs a 350. On my 360 I went with a widley accepted 2.15 mikes X's rim with a 90/90 tire. It fits perfect.
Rear i used the same 2.15 rim with a 110/90 rear tire. A 100 rear tire would be okay too, but I went with the bigger 110 for looks.
