Will this pass safety?

About to go for a safety in Ontario. Wondering if I should just not waist my time and replace this first.

Is there a spec on tread height that anybody knows of?

Tread looks fine - more of an issue would be cracks in the sidewall etc. How old is the tire? They might give you a bit of hassle, but it might also depend on the rest of the bike. Where in Ontario are you?

I live in Georgetown and the shop I'm taking it to is in Brampton. I'm not sure how old the tire is actually, it came on the bike and the previous owner never mentioned it. The front tire is new the rest of the bike is in good shape. I've replaced all the cables and cleaned all the wiring. All the lights are in good shape.

That back tire is the only thing I'm worried about I think.

There should be a date code on the sidewall somewhere. It doesn't look like a date, so you would have to Google for a proper answer.
