will wheels from yamaha sr250 fit to sr125?

im currently building a yamaha sr 125 scramber - but as the 125 has odd tire-dimensions – 16 inch back, 17 inch frontwheel, i would like to swap it for 18 inchers from a sr 250. will they fit? anybody ever done this? or: can you recommend scrambler-tires like conti tkc 80 for 16 and 17 inch rims? i havent found some yet

It's likely that they use the same hub dimensions, but you'd have to search for actual measurements to be sure.Try and compare part numbers of the axle and spacers. If tthey're all the same, you should be gold.
