I want to have a few name patches made up for my work shirts. Anyone have a good supplier? I also would like to order another large DTT patch but I can't find the contact info? Maybe he could do one off name patches as well?? Any help would be appreciated.

Someone had a bunch of these made up a few months ago...

I need to look around...

I just answered my own question about the DTT patches. i forgot about the search option ::) http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=5216.0
Anyone know if Carter is still around? The last post on that thread was way back in October...

yes.. Screen printed shirts with the DTT logo on the back..
Tim wears one every time Ive seen him ;D

I believe it was Joe, (aka: JRK5892) who makes them...
Id send him a PM to confirm...

Its a really nice work shirt!

Cool, thanks! You've got it all at your fingertips! :D

Just FYI, you can go to most laundry/ coverall supply places and get the patches that are used on normal work uniforms. The laundry places are the ones that do coverall and uniform sales and rental contracts, anyway. Check the yellow pages and you will find them. They can embroider or print the patch, and it is iron or sew on.

Never have seen the attraction to work shirts, though....oh wait, that's because I WORK in them! ;D

Thanks for the info. I never thought about a Laundry place.

I actually wear work shirts all the time on my farm. About 2 years ago I decided that I had F' up way too many good t shirts and started wearing heavy wear work shirts. Best thing I ever did but I still wear my ratty t shirts around the house. Drives my wife crazy because most of them are full of holes and stains. Anyhow, I used to wear carhart pants but they are just too expensive. I found a deal on paramedics pants ($6 each)and bought a bunch of them. Tough as hell double knees and ass, rip stop and tons of pockets are handy for tools. I think the best part is flux/splatter from the welder just rolls right off. Anyhoo, thought it might be cool to toss my name on the front of a work shirt so my animals knows who feeds them and shovels their shit ;D

Haha! That cracked me up!

I have to work in this type of shirt. So it's not exactly my bag to wear one while I'm doing things I actually enjoy!
Although when I first saw the mechanic's shirts offered up I thought they were neat, just not for me. I also thought about getting a nametag made for one... but with something like "Nobody" or "Habib" in place of my actual name.

+1
I wear work shirts all day at... well, work!. I prefer T-shirts otherwise.

I want a nametag that says "Inigo Montoya" ;) ;D

I stopped drinking coffee and reading these posts. I don't have to clean the keyboard as often now!! ;) ;D ;D

You guys are always good for at least a chuckle!! 8)

I can get name patches done up by the same company that does our 4" DO THE TON patches.

If I recall, they're $2 a pop, and I can just send in a list of names. I have one on my Dickies workshirt, along with a 4" patch on the sleeve and the DO THE TON logo screened on the back.

I'll get a pic, but basically the name patches are solid black background with white text. I'm on the fence about if the border should be black or white. White would make it look more like our 4" patches, but black might be more subtle.

Input? Anyone want to start a thread/list of names of people who want them? We can put any name you want on them of course - I think up to 15 characters if I recall.

I have a used pair of blue mechanics coveralls that I like wearing when I need to stay somewhat clean in the shop.
The name tag says Jesus.

it's ironic
