Anyhow, take a gander here: http://www.goingfaster.com/angst/main.htm

Please, dont turn this into some HD bash fest. I just want to post this so we can see how cool it is that here at DTT ALL are welcome. That guys like this mental midget wouldnt last here.

Oh, wow.......

Harley bashing is one thing......but this guy has risen to the next level of hatred. Seems like the kind of person that if he was racist, he would be a top level figure in the KKK or something.

That guy probably picks a fight in the parking lot ever time he sees someone wearing an HD t-shirt. Opinions are fine to have, but that comes out like bigotry.

I have no huge love for harley's but damn thats just ridiculous. I can at least live with the idea of a nice cafed sportster like the deus. But i have a feeling this guy would piss me off in a heart beat with his reasoning and his disregard of other peoples preferences.

Wow, pretty gnarly, but i must admit, I'm a little entertained by it. Im just thankful that growing up, we had so many different brands and types of motorcycles in my garage, I learned to love them all. Sure, there are some I can do without, but I keep those opinions to myself.

I found it quite funny for a couple of minutes, then, it's just same ol same ol.
I would say he's probably black, pretty highly educated and just found a niche to play in (lot of dark references.)
I did notice a quote attributed to Issac Azimove which I believe is really a mi-quote from Oscar Wilde
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. - Issac Asimov."
If I remember right it should be 'Violence is the last resort of the unintelligent' -Oscar Wilde

This made me laugh though
(HD) 'short yellow bus of the motorcycle world'
You got to admit there is same creative BS going on there ;D

Just yesterday my buddy Nick and I were talking bikes and hogs. He owns an 87 Sportster 883. LOVES IT! Me, someday I would like to have a hog grace my coral. My reasoning behind this, Harley Davidson motorcycles have been around forever. And they are an American Icon. But, at the very root of it all, Harley, Kawasaki, Yamaha, BMW, Norton, Triumph, Ducati, they are all motorcycles to get on and be free.

Meh. I read about a minutes worth and moved on. The us vs. them arguments grow old with me.
I really just don't understand people's allegiance though. One time I drove from San Fran to LA to get a yamaha fj12 rolling chassis. I stopped cause I saw a bike parked on the side of the road and a guy shading under a tree. I offered to haul his bike wherever he needed to get to but he refused cause he didn't want his Harley on the trailer with a yamaha. Oh well. Happy heat stroke, fucktard.

I've read through the FAQ's to try to get a better understanding of this guy's anger. A colossal effort to express distaste for certain folks, something I wouldn't do. However he does claim that he's not so much against a rider of Harley's but against jerks on any type of bike..even though he is being said jerk as well. Perhaps the irony is lost on him.

Seen that before. I laughed. But I've always lived by the creedo that any minute wasted putting effort to trod on another for the simple purpose of venting hate and anger is a minute wasted.

Though I do admit....I never caught shit from any of my sportbike buddies. The you know who's are always the first to serve the cold dish, so I guess maybe that site is just an act of Karma. And by the way, I think VERY highly of some HD riders. A few on this board. It's just the "guilty by association" thing that really gets ya. That's why I'm a communist for only buying imports I guess!

Our bikes are "American re-engineered". Think along the lines of yankee ingenuity (or in your case Kiley, southern ingenuity)

That hurt to see. I will now go back to my motorcycles with more appreciation than ever. Knowing that if it has two wheels and an engine, I will attempt to ride it.

I'm probably in the minority, but I find a lot of things on there totally on point and accurate. everyone has an opinion.

I've actually met the guy, about 15 years ago. Long before his Harley rant hit the net, and it's been around for several years now.
He was a regular on a Firebird/Camaro forum I used to hang out on. I was heavy into Autocrossing at the time, and he drove in from (iirc) Jackson, MS to check out the car and the event.
He's not quite as "douchey" in person, or wasn't back then, but he sure does like to hear himself talk.
