Dual front drum brakes. That's insane. I'm wondering how hard it would be to pull on those brake levers.

This would be a serious addition to any vintage ride.

Seller claims 2 finger lever power... and that that braking force it exceeds dual ATE's on the BMW's... so lever force seems fine.

His description is wrong though... this is a 2 leading and 2 trailing shoe unit... not 4 leading as listed... this is noted in the Q&A section.

$305 and the next bids meets researve... seems reasonable for this bit of kit.

Think Tintin will bite?

Does anyone have any idea of how the hubs for this keep from spinning? I'm not seeing an anchor bolt anywhere on the hub.

Isn't it the lock nut that's on the other side of the fins opposite of the pivot arm?

Possibly. On the same line ... I'd think you'd need a pair of specific Benelli forks for this hub ... I mean .. how many pairs of forks have you seen that are ready for dual front drum brakes like these?

There only thing you need is a brake stay mount somewhere. I got fancy and had a tab welded to my forks to match the brake hub. Most front drum brake hubs just use a simple bracket which can easily mount to the fender mounts of any forks.

This particular hub looks like it has a nice beefy nut forward of the axle, to which you'd bolt a bracket that runs up to your fender mounts. I'd make one that bolted to both fender mounts that are typical on most forks for added strength/security.

Check the front wheel of this bad boy - nice read too.
