That's true. Especially with UNI foam filters (if they fit) and fairly open exhaust.

treitz said:Finally got around to trying those Triumph carbs out on the 850. Fired right up, and sounded better than it ever has before. Warmed up with the choke on, idled great with the choke off. Revved up well and sounded through the range.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to take it out for a ride. Hopefully some day this week before it starts raining again. Just need to get it out of the winter hibernation resting place.
