Of recent I picked myself up a new bike as I was hit off mine and waiting for insurance to sort things out.
So I got a Yamaha DT250 2'stroke 1976. It is bone stock and dirty. My goal is to put modern front suspension, supremoto wheels, and then just clean it up new seat etc.
I have the engine sorted and the generally everything planned out, it is just the front end and wheels I have no idea how to approach. Does anyone know of a modern replacement that will fit on with not too much fight? But also what size should I go with for my wheels and tyres. I would like 17's as I enjoy the way they look and are comfortable for street use.
Any help would be wonderful, hope all is well.
