Yamaha dt250 front brake drum cover

Hello can't not find any were online front drum cover install I have a yamaha dt250 brake hub trying to fig out correct way to get dish (cover) to spin onto drum can not get cover to spin onto drum yes it's the correct cover for the drum

did you replace brake shoes ?
are the shoes fully seated on the anchor and the cam ?
what is the next number in the series 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 ...
included just in case you thought this was rocket science .

Probably displaced speedo drive
Pretty sure you mean brake plate, not drum cover

Not gonna use speedo on bike but I left mechanism there

You don't see it because it goes from 233 to 377 and flies right over Oldstuff 315's head :

Still can't get this installed how does it lock on drum?

It doesn't 'lock' it just sits on axle and 'locks onto fork leg lug
There should be a punch mark on the end of cam and another on the operating arm
