Those bikes were a nightmare for Yamaha as they all cracked the heads between the 4 valves,there was an update (a different head) I owned 2 of them,should have been smarter after the first one,

YEAH I'VE HEARD SOME BAD THINGS TOO. THIS ONE HAS 24,000KM'S ON IT AND I HAVE ANOTHER ONE WITH 76,000 KM'S ON IT AND ANOTHER WITH 66,000 KM'S ON IT . I HAVE SEVERAL BARNS FULL OF BIKES SO IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ANY MODEL IN PARTICULAR , LET ME KNOW AND I'LL SEE IF I CAN HELP.
