Yamaha xs250 rear master cylinder help

Hi guys

I need a new rear master cylinder repair kit for my xs250, but can't find one

Does anyone know anything on what I can replace it with?

Urgent for my cafe racer!!!!!!

what is your location?

Measure (as accurately as possible) the bore of your MC (probably either a whole mm or possibly a .5mm i.e. 5.5mm). Chances are that MC is used on other models and searching by bore size may turn up a match. I would expect that any Yamaha MC kit of the same bore and roughly the same era as your xs250 should work.

i measured it, and it says 16mm? does that sound right?

16mm sounds a bit large for a rear MC to me, but it certainly could be.
Front MC for dual disks are frequently in the 15-18mm range, fwiw...

well it looks about right...

Unless you know of an aftermarket one i can replace it with

Are you measuring the I.D. of the MC bore?
I'm not certain if you have already disassembled the MC or not?

Hi..it already apart..

I am mesuring the metal plunger.. the end of that that rund up the bore

it is deff 15mm i think

The size should be stamped on the outside of the MC.

As long as the mounting points are the same, you could use pretty much any rear MC - 99% are for single piston calipers.
