yamaha xt250 suggestions

got this little bad boy for 500$.

the seat was obviously horrible so thats going to be my first change any suggestions on how i should set it up.
I don't want to change the frame any. My access to a welder is limited and last time I welded and chopped my frame i ran into a world of clearance issues with the back tire rubbing. which; is a problem I want to avoid being that this is going to be a fun little enduro project.

so any design advice is gladly accepted

i was thinking something along the lines of a sheet metal seat pan so i can bolt it on/off the frame with just a little bump in the back for the tail light to sit up in.

Most deff. You're an idiot if you chop it IMHO. Find yourself an original seat and ride the sucker!

no plans on chopping just cleaning it up and putting a different seat on it

i guess this is posted in the wrong forum being that its not really a big ass project more so as it is my taking parts off one at a time and cleaning and replacing
starting witttthhhhh the exhaust sys.

i ground the surface rust and hit the pitted spots as much as I could. Then laid down a coat of black high temp paint.

also took off the front fender and cleaned it up and laid down a coat of primer (no pics) (none needed its a white fender with fresh white paint on it...)

the handle bars are absolute garbage they are uncomfortable and down right ugly.
Anyone have suggestions for a good set of sub $60 bars?

The exhaust looks great. As for bars, how about Renthal Ultra lows?

its amazing what an hour of grinding and 2 coats of paint will do to a bikes appearance.
