Those little half circle retainers are nowhere to be found. I reckon that baggie disappeared in my recent garage move.

Those are just lock-tab 'washers' to keep the nuts holding the sprocket on from turning / loosening.

Any spring lock washer will do the trick combined with some blue Loctite. Not a critical part.

Are you sure? I seem to remember some half moon clip things. I thought that they fit into a groove in the same way as the circlip. I'm pretty meticulous about bagging and labeling everything but I messed this one up

Yea tim is right on the money with this one. You could either use regular lock washers or safety wire it like a race bike.

Shouldn't - where does that enormous clip go? Does it provide one more safety mechanism to keep the sprocket in place? Never seen one of those before.

In looking online, it appears the sprocket may have a recessed area where those lock-tab devices would normally sit? Not a big deal either way - the only purpose they serve is to keep the nuts on the studs and nothing more.
