Hi all, I'm recently new to DTT, and so far its pretty rad! My name is Steven, I hail from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I'm 18 years old, am pretty mechanically inclined, and am always wanting to do crazy projects. I like to think I know a lot, and I actually do, but that's because I spend hours and days researching information about that certain object or project. But no one knows everything. I'm diggin all of your guys builds and even threw mine up a while back, even though its not finished. I've been having some trouble finding the parts I want to put on my bike, and if you guys know where I can find any of these that would be great. Yes, I have used google extensively to look for these parts but I have yet to find the ones I want, I know im picky but I have a very specific way I want this bike to look. Again, thank you!
Looking for:
The Tach ratio for a 1980 Kawasaki KZ440B, I have yet to find a definitive answer to the ratio, whether it be 1:4,1:5, or 1:7.
Turn signals; retro, but i'd like led. No futuristic, chopperish, or anything like that. I want retro, racey.
Brake Light;same as above.
Tool bag; small, only need to hold a few of the main tools, preferably would like to be able to hid it under the seat or as such.
Dark Brown Grips.
Thats really about all I can think about. My builds almost finished and I cant wait! After this one, i'm going to start a KZ1000 that I got for free from a buddy of mine, but that will be a 2+ year long project as im going to do extensive custom work to that one.
