ha! ya no kidding. Ask Hoof if that qualifies for a time slip? haha
Well it is written proof, so, ya id say it qualifies

I'd say that qualifies as a timing slip!! : - ) My timing slips probably cost as much as the ticket! I paid $650 in entry fees at Bonneville last year and made 5 passes. So each timing slip cost $130. Worth it? You betchyer ass!!!

Sorry no passenger. SCTA doesn't allow them. BUB does.

P.S. These make it all worthwhile.

130 w/ my brother back in the '70s in his Alfa Romero.

138 on my VFR somewhere on a state highway in Southern Ill. My thoughts had been, "What the heck, it's a nice day, the weather is perfect, and the road is empty, wonder what this thing will do?" When the needle went past 135 my thoughts turned to, "This thing feels amazingly stable and settled at this speed, but hey dummy, you're over 40 and would like to get to know your future grand children."

100+ on a friend's ST1100 in third gear going up an entrance ramp. I was just tiddling along picking up speed and happened to look down at the speedo... "Sheesh, this thing goes!"

100+ mph many times for long stretches on the Autobahn during the 5 years I lived in Germany back in the '80s. Different vehicles... but the most fun was the Mini Innocetti I had. 1275cc, twin carbs, straight exhaust. (The little beast tended to overheat if I kept it going that fast for very long, though.) ;D

140 2004 Buell XB12
140+ 1987 Merkur XR4Ti
110 2001 Focus ZX3
45 1970 Honda CB350 (In grass, only rode bike one time)

138mph... '93 bmw 525i... on the way to the strip club, well, and lots of other times.(damned governor)

155mph... '91 gsxr1100... 'cause it's fun(damned rev limiter)

116mph... 97 suzuki sidekick... never did hit a governor, i just ran out of downhill straightaway.

Just a hair under 160 (indicated) on my ZX9R, unknown on my gixxer 1k cause I don't usually look at the speedo. On the ZX, I just happened to glance down... On the gixxer, it was wicked fast. That's all I can say. Also don't know on my '93 gixxer 7fiddy but I used to dust Vettes and muscle cars all day.

P.S
The fastest I'd ever been in cars was when I took clients out on test drives when I sold German Autos in '06-'07 I took a trust fund kid on a windy county highway and did 140ish in my favorite Beemer, a 335xi. The other time, I let the client (deep pockets, lead foot) take over the reigns of an AMG CL65 (V-12 brute). I don't know how fast he was going as I couldn't pull my head off the headrest to look at the gauges! Ha! Anyway, some driver on the expressway called my boss to complain about "being blown off the road". Those were some of the (very few) good memories I had of being a car salesman, I mean Sales and Leasing Consultant! :-D

117 in the back of a Georgia State Patrol squad car.
115 in a '91 Mustang 5.0
