Your fastest and on what

105mph in my Chrysler Valiant.

105mph on the Aprilia RS125... that was insane!

120mph on the GSX-1100EF before clutch slip and a rear tyre down to the canvas stopped me.

But you know what? Probably none were as crazy as doing 55mph on a Honda CT110. Felt like I was going to die, or explode... or both! Highly recommended experience.

Cheers - boingk

fastest on the public roads - 182 mph in my Alpine GTA Turbo. Vastly underrated car as it came from the Renault stable. If it had a Porsche or Ferrari badge on it - I couldn't have afforded it!

on a bike - 167mph on a 01 rc51 with every mod except forced induction/nitrous.

in a car - 163mph in my 2006 civic si, only mods were cold air intake, dc sport race header, and eibach sport springs. trust me i wouldnt believe it either but i was pretty determined racing some punk ass kid who was barrowing his dads c5 vette. (believe it or not he didnt pull too hard, about 8-9 car lengths in about a mile-mile and a half race, i was really impressed i hung with him that well.)

damn i forgot about my bosses old ferrari f40, upgraded turbos and I/C's ran on cam2, i hit about 190 in it FUCKING SCARY, i didnt even want to look at the guage but i had to know a round about number, i kept going a little bit afterwards but no idea how fast i actually got going.

20mph Running full sprint... in my Mizuno Wave Runners (running shoes.)
I ran past the cop's radar sign and it said 20mph! pretty good for no wheels :) :)

I've never really been too into top speed but I did top my TLR out once, probably 140-150 ish? The speedo was reading 175 but I know that's not accurate. You'd probably have to drop a TL from a plane to see 175. ;D

2 wheels around 160.

4 wheels...I do not know, faster than the speedo reads but close to the two wheel number above.

Not as much these days though...I start thinking about chains and wheel bearings when I get up there now...getting old I guess but I am still good for it on occasion.

I rolled out of one at around 145 a little while back and she still had more...then recently I got pulled over for driving too slow...never thought I would see that day! Hahahaha!

155mph indicated on an '03 Ninja 600 in the summer of 2007 ;D

76mph on my '75CB360 yesterday (with a 50mph speed limit I didn't want to risk going faster, but she still had plenty left)

130mph on my old Yamaha 600 (my first bike)
85mph on my GS1100
80mph on my CJ360

I've yet to really get on the throttle too much on my GS1100. There is a lot of power there for sure, but I've only had the bike a short time.

My CJ had a bit more left, but conditions didn't permit going any faster.

155-160? On both of my friends RS 250 Honda Formula 2 bikes that I used to wrench for them. Not sure of the speed, only had a tach, but that is what they were geared for in high and the tach was pegged. Fun ride on a country back road where I tested them :) They only weighed 260 lbs.

110 on my KH 400

Ton on my GPZ 305

32 on my sons' GoPed. He had about $1,300 in that thing with a pipe and everything.

125 in my '65 442

It's not going to be fun in Illinois anymore, Jan. 1-'11 the fine for 30 over is $1,500 and or 6 month jail time. It's a good thing I live close to the Wisconsin border

Oh, I almost forgot 185 in a Ferrari P4! (Wait a minute, I was dreaming ;D )

265kph on a GPZ1000RX a had for a year. Only once, and never again. Not going to tell you where ;)

Hahaha... nice! I've got a few secret speeding spots as well - ones a huge straight about 3km long. Brilliant not only for speed but its usually deserted as well.

More than the law allows on everything I have owned in the past 60 years except my lawn mowers--and if I could have figured out a way to "ungovern" them, would have broken the law on them as well.bj
