Its nickel actually! Having a lot of fun with plating lately, never tried that before and it turns out we have cheap AND good platers here in town. Which is good!
 
Yep... those little parts can run with an order and the shop can buy lunch with a few little jobs tossed in.

I tops out at 70kph, cruising speed 50. I've calculated that about 15% of the icecream will end up in the beard at an ambient temp of 20'c and air humidity around 60-70%. Talking sea level here, no mountains around.

took it out for a warmup, goes real sweet now! When i get some free time i will take it all the 10 kilometers from here to the vehicle inspection..!
