Sachs 150cc 2-stroke repair

Put some oil in the cylinder of the spare engine the other day and cranked it with the gear shifter (same splines as the kicker!) Gave it some starter gas and some petrol in turns and finally it fired, and sounded very healthy! Just have to fix up a few small things then i can lift it into the bike for a test ride. Switching engines in these old things is a 30 minute job

mostly tinkering with the t100 chop at the moment, kinda had to rebuild the whole rear section to fit a bigger tire, put a 21t front sprocket on with all the modding that comes with that. And now the pushrod tubes started weeping again permatex gray fix this time..

German bronze flywheels from early 50's have a very nice color. Guessing its a bit lower in copper content.
