This is something I need to know the answer of as well. Are your forks 27mm? If they are from what I've found out about my bike it takes about 125cc of oil. Converts to just a bit over 4 oz. Don't know for sure though.

I want to go with the same thing; low rise (3-4") bars. I might have to shave some metal off the clamps to get some bigger bars in there. Did you just use a wire brush on the side covers?

Do you already have a different handlebar in mind? Changing out the bars is something what I want to do but the stock ones are 3/4" and I haven't been able to find anything in that same size. I've found some 27mm (I think that's the size of my forks, can’t remember offhand) clipons that I...

Yup. Currently at the mq-9 ftu but heading to Ellsworth soon to stand up the new unit there. Been a MIC for 2 years now and it's totally different than traditional intel.
