Been way too long since I have ben on here.
Just looking thru some of the pics and posts, has got the itch going - need to get a bit more work done on my little bike.
Just has been too good a weather not to go riding.
I had a daily rider, and was able to get a project bike to work on, but my girlfriend said after that one, no more til she gets a ring on the finger. Thought that was pretty reasonable. The other bike is about half fixed, she is starting to think the money for her ring is going into new tyres...
WooooHoooo got the bike going.
A weekend of tinkering, then a set of new plugs, fresh fuel and a fully charged battery saw life breathed back into the bike.
Huge smile, luv the roar of a little 2stroke in the morning

Couple of days off, so I thought I would tidy up a few little jobs on the bike.
Been a bit slow, my daily rider needed my attention. Got a new set of tyres and a service, so that took all of my pocket money.
G'day, great to welcome another fellow Aussie to the site.
This is a great place to get great answers- got a lot of my 'dumb' questions answered here, still asking them too !!!
Looking forward to seeing the build. Really liking the small bike builds
I have a couple of dodgy spokes and looking at re-lacing the wheels of my old Yamaha.
Is this something that is achievable with minimal equipment and experience or
does it fall into the 'Dark Arts' area?
Keen to hear how you went with the lacing of the wheels
Where did you get the spokes, and did you have a jig to re-lace them?
Might have to go thru the same, so keen to gain any advice !!!
Swapped out the old tacho cable with a NOS one, got the blinker / flasher unit sorted.
The trip to the mechanic sorted out the fork seals, and they needed a little straightening.
New tyres fitted
and list of things that I need to sort out for the rego.
A question I will throw out to the...
