    Those stick-on seat pads suck

Yours looks great, I'm running pretty stiff rear shocks cause I don't like the rear to squat when I'm on the gas, with that thin pad , it beat me up bad.

    1974 TX500 Yamaha

Bike has not been ridden and has been sitting a long time, head gasket is blown, but the kickstarter pushes through with compression. I have the ignition key but I do not have the title. The odometer reads 19,351 miles. This would be a fun and cheap winter project or use it for parts. Gas tank is...

    Hardway's Savage build

Beachcomber, I think the savage engine will look great in your xs500 chassis. With your Triumph gas tank, Ducati seat, and Japanese engine, your bike will be very international! I'm hoping that with the bike being much lighter than stock now, rejetting the carb and a free flowing exhaust will...

    Hardway's Savage build

Hello, I posted my project in intros, thought I'd move it over here, (hope its the right place) Showing what I got so far. The tailsection is a swap meet sportster gas tank (came with a pingle petcock!) CB200 gas tank, and I just got some rearsets from Dime City but haven't figured out how to...

Its a suzuki savage. A 650 single belt drive kinda chopper (in stock form). I welded some square stock straight back (for the seat) and lowered the forks. I love the cb200 tank, I'm gonna put one on every bike I build!

Thanks for the link, I'm definately going to check out that Savage board since I dont know much about this bike. Your idea for a rigid project sounds great for this frame since it really seems to have those lines, much more so than the cafe style I'm trying to do! I'll be welding some straight...

Yep, belt is stock, the swingarm is actually outside the frame. This makes it hard finding a spot to weld rearset brackets to.

Hey, I dig the Ryca bike too, but at 1795.00(the cheap kit) not including the 18"rear wheel, shocks, clipons ,exhaust, etc, your looking at 2500.00 easy. (Plus the cost of the bike) Waaay too much dough for me. I've got a grinder, a welder, and a dream.(heavy sigh)

Thanks for the welcome. Its an 03 savage that I got pretty cheap. Honda cb200 gas tank and the seat section is made from the rear of a sportster gas tank. Wanna do more work on it but my garage is about 10 degrees right now. I think the pics I posted yesterday disappeared.
