Not my latest purchase, but definitely the best thing I've ever bought. Ended up buying another larger one too. I use it every time I work on anything.

Just buy an old bike and start tearing it apart, then learn when trying to put it all together! Seriously though, if you have any mechanical wherewithal, and a clymer's manual, you'll be off to a good start. There's no better experience than just doing it. Maybe it'll take you twice as long...

Hey guys, I know there are posts ad nauseum regarding cam roller tensioners, but I have a question I can't seem to find an answer to. Pulled my top end on '72 cb350, and the main roller is chewed up, as expected. But, the smaller roller on the "lever" has one small area worn down, but the rest...

After seeing the results with just room temperature soaking, I don't think heat is necessary, but I'd be interested to see if it speeds up the process at all. If anyone tries it, please post.

One other question about valve springs. I've seen all the DIY tips, but I have a compressor like this one below and I can't really get it to work well. I'm guessing it's pointless and I should just get/make another one. Just curious if anyone has ever had any success with this type before?
