I got the engine back in the frame! I had to take off the bracket on the bottom right front of the frame. Then wedge it back in with the engine in place.
(and yes I did the total noob thing and took it apart before it...

I was watching naked speed and the guy helping Zeeks build said "any 11 year old can take a bike apart. It takes a special 11 year old to put it back together." Well I am not a special 11 year old, I am a struggling 27 year old haha.

Why does nobody mention how hard it is to get the engien back in. :o :'( :o
Here's some painting on the headers and heat guards I did. With high heat ceramic rattle can.
Most people on here will tell you get the engine back together and on the frame and get it running properly. I am in the same place you are after I put everything back together and get it running I'm going to consider frame modifications

I've made it pretty far I am replacing my points and looking into ricks r/r set. Also still considering a new wiring harness from Sprock. I got pretty frustrated with the points and decided to put on new handle bars and headlight. I should have executed...

Ok so i made it to step one with no spark I tested the voltage at the core ends and only got 2 volts max, is that enough? (I picked up a multimeter I've needed one for a while) I traced the black and white wire and was getting 12+ volts all the way to the...

When I took the carb apart the floats were very far from even to each other. I'm probably not using the right words I'm sorry, this is a whole new world for me .

Haha so for all your guy's help I am going to let you laugh at me more. The cluster of wires that go to the ignition switch were not hooked up to the starter magnetic switch. They were probably loose for a long time and me dicking with the bike...

I still have the original fuse holder with the glass tubes it actually looks like its in good shape. Thanks for the diagram, 12v bulb check. I am reading thru the pinned post "read this first" and "read this second"
