    Re: "Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week! I went and looked at his collection. It was ridiculous. All kinds of rare bikes. I also found out he recreates molds for cast parts on old British bikes, and sells them all over world. Really cool guy.

    I agree. But sometimes I like the bikes that show their age, gracefully. The RE doesn't particularly hit that mark. I appreciate all the input from everyone though. Definitely good to get second and third opinions since I'm prone to impulse purchases.

    looking for a local cycle machine shop/person in W. PA.

    The one I had used previously, closed on January 1st of this year but there is another local one called Riggs Machine Shop. They have a website but it's pretty bare bones, not sure what kind of work they really do, I know they do a lot of fabrication for industrial facilities...

    Newbie from KY
