    Another Motorcyclist A**hole!!!

Hey, I just wanted to post this article about some jacka** in my area driving recklessly on his stolen dirtbike while taunting the local cops...It gives us law-abiding motorcyclist a bad image, but I'm glad the police caught him after 4 months of being on the loose... PJ...

Cafe or Restore??? A Builder's Rant...

Haha, thanks for all your responses...I'm gonna go ahead and "restore" it, but with custom touches. I figure the money I would be spending to "cafe" my bike would just go to the motor itself... PJ

Cafe or Restore??? A Builder's Rant...

Hey Guys, Its been a while since I posted, but I'm stuck right now on my 1977 GS 750 "build". Right now I have everything stripped down to just a rolling frame. I've been debating for awhile whether or not I want to create a cafe/brat bike or just do a "restoration" on my bike. I've always...

    Angle Grinder Dilemma

Hey Guys, I just wanted to ask the forums about their opinions on the different angle grinders in the market. Anyways, I had my eye on a Dewalt 4.5 inch grinder on Amazon for about 50 bucks http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-D28110-2-Inch-Small-Grinder/dp/B000BM6BMS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I was...

Chroming and Polishing services in Chicagoland

FYI, I emailed Lo-Ko about their powder coating services. They charge about $200 to blast and powder a frame and about $15 to blast and coat smaller pieces (depending on the color, I'm guessing black is the cheapest). Expect 1 to 1.5 week turnaround time...I hope that info helped out...

"Project Dark Knight" (77' GS 750B)

From what I remember, the PO told me that the mags were aftermarket or off some other bike (I don't remember of hand). I've been hearing they were worth alot of money to the right buyer. The funny things was, I really hated these mags at first and preferred the stock spoke wheels which I also...

    Stock Tanks!!!

Hey All, This may sound like a stupid question, but from your own experiences, what is the biggest and most "slender" looking stock tank? I'm only asking because I want to replace the tank on my 77' Suzuki GS 750 (which is pretty bulky) with something that is slender, but holds about 4...

    rectifier question???

Not to hijack this thread, but can you guys describe how you modded that radio shack rectifier for your motorcycles? This is by far the cheapest rectifier I have seen. I've only seen those $100 rectifiers that are specifically made for motorcycles, but this mod can be a great money saver. FYI...
