    CB550K Build - CB650 Motor Swap vs Cam Swap

    Just wanted to know is it really worth swapping a cb650 cam into a cb550 motor? Or would I be better off swapping an entire cb650 motor/exhaust/electrical etc? Im just curious as what gains I would see from one or the other. The bike is a 77' cb550k, and I just picked up a complete 81 cb650c...

    So I picked up a 1977 Honda CB550k a few months back for $100. I've been working on it during my free time. When I first got it, it was missing a headlight, the carbs were off, the battery tray, airbox and a few others parts came in a box. Here's a few pics!

    Looking for CB550 Header/Exhaust

    Looking for a header pipe for my 77' CB550. I am really wanting to find a 4 into 1 original oem honda header. Used, dented, ugly, whatever condition! If you have a set please let me know.

    CB550K Headers

    Anyone know of any companys that sell JUST the header pipe for a 77' honda cb550 four cyl? I've also got a header pipe for a sohc cb750, is there anyway of making this work? I plan to use a yoshimura muffler that i got off of a kawasaki.
