Looks like its just wired back to the positive on the battery, so it probably just acts like you disconnected the battery somehow and that it kills the engine. Ill keep looking into it and see if that's right.

Nice! I just pick up a running 1970 a month ago with only 4k on it! I paid 600, on the long road to cafe it out! Some one put scramblers on it!!!
