    Ponycarman's '80 cm400t

Not totally sure where I'm gonna go with the seat honestly. The stock one is big but doesn't look horrible to me. Way more comfy and with my long legs helped to give me some more room. I have a second seat to experiment with though! Fun fun haha! Sooner or later I'll make my mind up ha.

    Ponycarman's '80 cm400t

Got a good bit done last weekend. Took the forks back off and stripped the black paint off. Lightly polished the forks. Not totally shiny but better than they were. Got then put back on and started putting on the other pieces. Got the brake caliper, new line, master cylinder, new controls, and...

    Ponycarman's '80 cm400t

Got this in the mail today! Braided stainless brake line with fittings, bolts, and crush washers. I believe this will complete my brakes systems for now. Had some questions about fork braces and steering dampers. I've seen some peeps use tarrozi fork braces. When I look on fast from the...

    Ponycarman's '80 cm400t

Got a ton done today. Probably the most progress yet. Got the rest fender cleaned and de-rusted. Sealed up the underside with rubberized undercoat. Mounted it and the rear signals and tail light. Took the whole front end apart and got the new steering head bearings in, rebuilt the forks, and...

    1981 honda cm400e

You mean the front master cylinder? Yes master cylinders from other bikes will work. Just make sure it's the right size for your handlebars and the right piston size. I grabbed a nissin unit off eBay with the appropriate sizes. Mine came off a newer suzuki. Just have to do some searching. Nice...

    Ponycarman's '80 cm400t

Been doing as much as I can on the weekends. Got a replacement lower steering stem and tapered steering bearings. Haven't installed them yet. In the disassembly and rust removal phase haha. Naval jelly has been working great to get the rust gone. The original stem had one of the stops broken...

Hello follow cm owners. It's been quite a while since I have posted or moved forward on my project. Many reasons, life happens ha. Getting married and buying a house seems to divert funds and attention. Excuses are done ha. I am having a bit of a resurrection. A friend of mine who is a...
