I have a dohc cb750, and I've come across a deal on a cb1100 engine. I know they are very similar externally, but curious if it's a direct bolt on?

Working on a new tank and debating a fuel gauge of some sort. I know Less=More with the Cafe Mentality. But with fuel...More=More. Any subtle/minimal solutions out there??? I'm not in love with anything so far. Let's see your examples/opinions.
