im trying to find a smaller pointless regulator to fit under my seat on a 69 cl 350. the stock one is about 1/4 to tall. can i use any regulator just as long as its a 12v max?????

i want to hide my rectifier under my seat in a compartment i made. i was wondering if it would get hot being in-closed and not out in the open ???

its as simple as this. the timing on the right cylinder seems impossible to get right on the money. the left cylinder i got right on. i pulled the plug on the right cyl. and the sleeve in the jug is all black. (not shiney and clean like it should be). i thought rings right away??? any other ideas??
