Quick note about my pic: the silver "bracket" (with the hole) that's hanging at the bottom-front of the tank is (obviously) not part of the tank ... it's just a harness hook that happened to be dangling.
I'm placing a CB 200 gas tank on the '79 CM 185T (Twinstar) frame I'm changing to a scrambler of sorts.
I'd like to get the tank mounted so the bottom edge is nice and horizontal ... and creates a flat line that continues with the seat behind it (mock-up pic attached).
