i am in the middle of painting the shocks on my 77 kz650 and i ran into a snag. it looks like the PO stripped one of the upper mounts. can this part be replaced? i cant see any welds and it looks like it might be threaded into the frame. HELP! i need to get back on the road!

took the bike to work today for my first longish ride. havent changed oil, filter or plugs yet, but those will be done soon.

i saw this today on Put in Bay Island in Ohio today on a trip with my girlfriend. Although THIS IS NOT MY BIKE, i thought some of you motoheads would enjoy it. I LOVE THIS BIKE! Too bad i dont know what it is.....
