Need a new throttle cable for my 72 CL450.

Has anyone ever heard of putting supermoto wheels and brakes on a cafe bike? I was liking the idea of upgrading from drum brakes to disks, along with putting more modern rubber on my project CL450 and one of my friends suggested this. Any reason why this wouldn't work?

Looking to see if anyone has these laying around. I have a 1972 CL450 that's completely missing the cover and bolts for the points system and my throttle cable has a kink in it so it has a hard time closing one of the carbs. Let me know what you guys have! -Adam

When I picked up my CL450 last week, the ignition tumbler fell apart and all the pins fell out along with the little springs. Now when I put the tumbler in with the key, it just turns over and over and don't know where the "on" position is. I don't have a battery in it right now, I'm just trying...
