Has anybody used the Dime City one-up leather seat?

As an upholsterer, I can tell you that from photos this is a really nicely done seat upholstery wise. The stiching looks good and the cover fits well with extra attention paid to fit and durability with top stitched seams even on the bottom gusset. One thing I did notice is the description...

How the hell did this thing get bid up to 2,650????!!!

Rocan, I do a lot more reading than posting and perhaps you should do the same as every one of your commments is completely asinine. Maybe when you have something trully worthwhile or valuable to add, I will have a little more respect for you and your posts.

    I got pickpocketed last night...

I would advise a money belt, carrying money in several places, and carrying you wallet in your front pocket. I don't advise the razor blade method, you don't want infected hooker blood on you or to piss of the pimp.

Slip on mufflers keep vibrating off of my cb350.

I guess the question to ask is why your bike vibrates so bad, I have a 350 and I don't have vibration issues it's not a Harley afterall?

    Home made copper exhaust baffle

I could be wrong but I believe that I read some where that you shouldn't use steel wool as a packing material as it can easily catch fire, just a little warning.

    Mock-up before paint. Ideas?

I think the paint choice is fine the way that it is, what I would do is have a chrome headlight bucket and rewrap the exhaust in black, just my opinion though

cb 350 twin Mechanical spark advancer

I have been having troubles with my CB high revving by itself and it has been suggested that I look at my Spark advancer to check old grease that may be causing it to stick. My question concerns the points, can they be removed to gain access to the advancer without disrupting their setting or...

Engine revving up at Idle (New question about main needle)

Re: Engine revving up at Idle Well I have got as far as taking the carbs of the bike and setting the float height as guessed the one side was off and turns out the float was twisted a bit so it measured 2.5 mm more on one side than the other. I also found some speckles of rust in the bottom of...

Engine revving up at Idle (New question about main needle)

Re: Engine revving up at Idle Thanks at least some things to check into. BTW the bike is a 1972 CB350. Hopefully I can get some time this weekend to dig in a little further. Maybe I should also mention that I just replaced my filters with UNI's not Pods really but not direct replacements...

Engine revving up at Idle (New question about main needle)

Here's the deal after my bike is warmed up really well say 15 or 20 minutes or so and I come to a stop the bike climbs from 1 grand in rpms to 2 then 3 at idle. I know the float on my right hand side carb may not be set at the correct level since I replaced it a month ago after the original...

    Carb woes, I guess?

Well I pulled off the filters but it didn't seem to help so fellow DTT member "Stout" helped me pull the carbs and we found the needle to be weak on the one side so we swapped needles between the two carbs to verify and sure enough the left side then wasn't getting fuel, so we swapped them one...

    Carb woes, I guess?

Well the filter that runs to the carb on the left side fills right up with fuel, its the right side that doesn't take any on. I guess what I should do is remove the line after the filter and see if I get any flow that way, if not the filter has to be plugged on the other hand if it runs through...
