Come on, speakers wires as jumper cables. They would not carry enough power to start a Cox .049. Use a real set of jumpers and that may do the trick. Also check all the grounds, battery volts standing and cranking the engine.(have you put some oil in the cyclinders??if so how much?) Good luck.

Gotta start somewhere. Put the batt in correctely. Check fuses and ground wires. The bubs will not blow just because you hooked it up bassackwards. But the regulator and other delicate electronics may have got fried.Good luck

What ever brand or size you decide on,, go with the AGM style bike batt. I've had one in my bike for 5 years and good as new. Prices have come down to very reasonable rates. You will not be dissapointed..

You should have no problem what so ever. the pads are self centering and if there is a discerpancy one side may wera a tiny bit more than the other. I put 19,000 thousand on my springer that had the same questions and its still got pad left.

In a far away time i put a 68 305 in a rupp mini chassi. Schwinn seat, 10 over forks,no clutch. Yours looks much better. What fuel cap ass. is on that tank??
