A good friend has asked if Id like to purchase his mx500 two stroke. it has an rd350 front end and a different yamaha gas tank. However the bike appears to be very well taken care of with many spare engine parts (i.e. heads, bottom end, transmission, gaskets) apparently all it needs is some time...

Im looking to replace my god awful stock can on my k75 with either a short pipe and pipe end or just cutting the pipe in half. The bike is fuel injected so Im aware Id have to compensate for lost back pressure. should I pack it with a bit of steel wool or weld a tip on to it? Any advice?
Is there a way to use offroad headlights like piaa or hella and not blind other drivers? I was thinking about using a lower watt bulb and maybe cutting into an extra headlight cap so the light is only coming out from a smaller area

I recently got this 1994 BMW K75 RT Police for a sweet deal. It needed some work, I lubed all of the splines, the clutch is fine and the gear box is clunky as expected. Engine is solid. Fairing is cracked from a spill. I will be replacing the rear master brake cylinder, removing the non...
I dont know any machinists around me and I need a seat loop and pan made, If you are able to make a kick up in the back of the loop that would be nice too. It is for a BMW K75, needs to be about 22 inches long and 10 inches wide. I live in fort Myers Florida. will pay.
I just changed the oil, replaced the stator, and tightened the cam chain to what I was told was the correct way to do it. 90 degrees counter clockwise from where the the stator mark and lc line up. Now with everything done the bike wont kick start anymore and when I use the electric start while...
I bought a stator from ebay for a cb350. I just got it and the plug is square rather than circular. I have a soldering gun so I can just re attach the plug or just take out the plugs entirely and connect them with small connectors. Is this a good idea or what?
Also there is a big gouge taken...
