Did you end up getting 2.25 tacho while having 2.5 speedo? wouldn't it be much smaller or not that big of a difference?

I'm looking for something like Dunstall reverse cone muffler ( https://www.moto-madness.com/cafe-racer-exhausts-c-8_773/dunstall-style-reverse-cone-muffler-p-1384.html ) but I can't seem to find it for 2 and a half muffler inlet. And it's for a Yamaha 1977 xs750 if that helps.

Did you ever finish with this bike? Post pictures if you finished it already or maybe of how it looks now! (unless u sold it, ofcourse)

I'm want to buy a nice looking/sounding muffler that has an inlet of 2 and 1/2 inches. Anybody got one for sale or know where I can get one from? I've looked everywhere for a decent 2-1/2 inlet muffler but couldn't find any. All the ones I want have smaller inlets :(. thanks

Thank you guys for the responses. I tried switching the spark plug wires around to make sure that the coils aren't switched around and firing in the wrong order but they seem ok because the way i have them now gives the chance a chance for the engine to start if i kick the bike over 20 times but...

I recently got a 1977 yamaha xs750 and was told by the seller that the reason for it not running is because the carbs are gummed up. So the first thing I did was that I cleaned the carbs perfectly and when I put the carbs back on the bike it would either start and backfire like crazy or just...

Would that be the same for a 1977 XS750? ty

Thank you gsdapollo for your help but i ended up finding the problem and it a short in the circuit. Whoever had the bike before me assembled the contact points wrong and missplaced one of the assembly's washers. I put the washer in the right place and it fired up right away.

Do you still have the xs360 parts? I want the 2 to 1 exhaust and possibly the carburetors
