Latest pics, almost done....for the summer

Yeah I'm going to pick up a tail light this week. And the back brake is a work in progress :) And I sent my carbs to crazypj for some work so hopefully that lessons some of the tuning issues I'll have this summer.

    1974 cb360 - "del sol" Build

Re: 1974 cb360 - "del sol" Teaser Ok so my K&N pods came in from DCC. I also received my new chain, new grips, new spark plug caps, throttle, and new shifter side linkage for my rearsets (from fast from the past). I have been completely dragging my feet on putting my rear wheel on for some...

    1974 cb360 - "del sol" Build

Re: 1974 cb360 - "del sol" Teaser So here is my wiring diagram as it came off my bike. I took apart the harness wire by wire and it doesn't differ too much from the drawings I have from the manuals or online. A few changes here and there but overall matches pretty good. I will be ditching the...

Drilling holes for bearings in aluminum

I was joking on the packing tape comment. I ended up having my machine shop ream the hole and press fit it for me with their huge press. I'll post pics in a bit. I also found a good 1/2" bolt that only has about an 1" of thread which will work perfectly.

    Ground bar?

That's the kind of answer I was looking for! Lol Thanks for the tip.

    Ground bar?

Yeah but my frame is powdercoated and I really was trying to minimize the spots where I was grinding it off. Plus I like the idea of not relying on the frame as a ground. Plus I have an ungodly amount of time before riding season (damn Ohio) so plenty of time to figure out the wiring. Maybe I...

    Ground bar?

Anyone use a ground bar on their bike? I would like to install one from the NEG on the battery and mount it in my electronics tray to capture all the other grounding points on the bike, like my rectifier and rear turn signals, and any other items I need. I'm thinking like the bars that are...

    1974 cb360 - "del sol" Build

Re: 1974 cb360 - "del sol" Teaser Here is my "shop." Its a 10x20 area in the front of my garage that is fully insulated and now has both a woodburner and a 240v electric heater. I built up a "stage" so to speak to keep everything off the cold concrete in the winter. Plus it keep ME off the cold...

    1974 cb360 - "del sol" Build

Re: 1974 cb360 - "del sol" Teaser The motor ran great before the tear down. I rode it for about 25 miles around my neighborhood checking shifting and revving it out and it sounded and shifted good. It only had 3,600 miles on it when I bought it a couple of months ago for $400. I'll attached a...

    1974 cb360 - "del sol" Build

Re: 1974 cb360 - "del sol" So here she sits as of this morning's mock up session. I'm thinking I need to lower the headlight a bit. My new tires, tubes, and rim strips will all be here Monday from Dennis Kirk. Got a good deal on some kenda challengers. Rims will be a "graphite" color from...

    CB 360 rearsets....POLL

Does your brake pivot asembly work with any rearsets? I'm making my own but would like to incorporate your brake assembly to utilize my stock linkage and return spring. If it does work, how much for just that part shipped to 43537?
