Looking good, being a new builder myself I can't help much but I am enjoying watching the build.

    1974 CB360

I got the rest of the engine tore down a couple nights ago and everything looks really good in there. The cylinder walls are smooth with no rust of any kind, the pistons and valves look good, the gears and crank look good with no signs of damage. So now its a matter of cleaning up the...

    Sl100 steampunk build

I love our tanks, I may steel this design for my bike since I don't have a gas tank.

    1974 CB360

Re: 1974 CB360 Cafe Racer Well, it seams as if the PO did some hack work on this poor thing. I had a few minutes tonight and decided to go out to the shop and tinker with the motor a little. I was confused when I grabbed my socket set, I figured that all the fasteners on the motor would...

    1974 CB360

Re: 1974 CB360 Cafe Racer WOW, its been over a year and a half since I last posted and about that long since I touched my bike. It was sitting in a corner in my workshop all this time, just collecting dust. I recently pulled it out when I was cleaning the workshop and rolled it outside...

anybody near Newburg,PA help a brother out?

There is a way to get a title for the bike but it involves going through the court systems. It is a little pricey so if you can get it by other means I would use the courts as a last resort.

    1974 CB360

Re: 1974 CB360 Cafe Racer I know its been a long while since I started this project, but life has put my bike build on the back burners. But recently while doing a scrap pickup I came across something that got me thinking about my bike again. This is a street light housing, and I think it...

New Bike! Does anyone know a site to get a diffrent tank???? HELP.

I agree with Squally, You can check a scrap yard and you may find something decent, Ebay has tanks all the time so you can check there, or you can look for local swap meets. As for something bolting up to it, that bike looks heavily modified so I doubt you will find anything to bolt right...

    CB360 Cafe Project

Re: CB360 Cafe Project *Update Pics 2/24/11* Cheap paint brushes will allow you to get in there, get the stiffest ones you can find. The dollar store is a good place to start. There may be better ways, but I use them all the time with my parts washer then they work well.

    CB360 Cafe Project

Re: CB360 Cafe Project *Update Pics 2/24/11* Since you are taking the engine apart, you could get a mortar mixing tub and use Kerosene. I am sure there are better ways, but I like using Kerosene, I have it in my parts washer and it works pretty good.

    CB360 Cafe Project

Re: CB360 Cafe Project *Update Pics 2/24/11* If your going to do it in the house, I would stay away from the stuff in the can, it can stink pretty bad.

Fricken e-bay people, but new Shorai on the way

Sounds to me that this guy is a drop-shipper and doesn't carry any stock himself. This is one of the reasons I hate Ebay.

    Autocad...

You can try opening up both files, in the one you want to move push ctl-a, then ctl-C. Now go to the destination drawing and press ctl-v. Basically you are just copying one drawing and pasting it in another. I hope this is what you were trying to do.
