a note taped to the bottom advises 'seal before use'.
Is this needed with raw alu? redkote etc?

If you want to get similar to your inspiration pics..maybe check how I added some rails to lift and flatten the seat?

well found some time and beat the top 1/3 of tunnel both sides..great, fits fine.
but i totally missed the bottom section ..the frame has a support on the k7 the k4 didnt have.
will need to cut/weld the bottom 1/3
will talk to some local welders tomorrow.

what type of welding will work? gas- brazing, tig? Ive got an inverter arc which woudnt work on that thin steel i think
