    Broken shock mount

    I just picked up a GS850L earlier this week to use for some light turing with my honey. I was checking all the nuts and bolts last night and managed to snap off an upper shock mount. What is the best method of repairing this? Josh

    rear-set adapers

    I imagine they replace the mount for the passenger peg. I wonder how the peg mounts in relation to how the passenger peg mounts used to mount. If that is how they mount, I had been thinking about making something like it. Josh

    god darn bolts!

    I usually put a little turning pressure when I use my impact driver. Helps me feel if it is turning or not and I feel it seats the bit better for the impact. Just my .02 worth.

    +1 on the 90 degrees between grits. I have used a bucket of water for wet sanding. Makes for a good pastime while sittin on da porch. Watch out for blisters using this technique though. Josh

    A spin on the RS rectifier.

    Here is a heat sink I made for my Radio Shack rectifier. I couldn't find a sutiable heat sink so I made one. It will mount like the old rectifier in the bracket, so it solves the mounting issue. Enjoy! Josh
