cb350f for $300
Some one go buy this so that I don't. I will have to move out if I bring home another project.
On the cb450k, the kick stand is part of the left foot peg. Those of you who are running rear sets, what did you do about it? I want thinking about just cutting off the arm the peg is on and leaving the rest the way it is. Is there a better way?
Generally you want the arm at the peg and the arm that it attaches to to be parallel, correct?
And you want the linkage between them to be as straight as possible?
Do any of the guys here make rear sets with folding pegs? I am looking to make a purchase in the next few weeks and the only option I have seen is the Terozzi Universals. I really like their stuff but I would like to support those who support us as well. These would be for my cb450k.
I found a new job and start in 2 weeks. I will be making significantly more money and have been considering picking up a modern bike to have as a DD and light touring bike. The only bad thing I have heard about the sv650 is the early fuel injected bikes had some growing pains. Is there anything...
So long story short, I am going to need a new job soon. The Harley dealer down the street from me is hiring a parts counter person. I have been in the auto parts biz for 12 years and want some thing different. I may not have a job in a few weeks and really need to find something. Have any of you...
I have fired an email off to Forking by Frank and waiting for a reply. I have seen the fork tubes that Racetech sells by TNK. On ebay Everett Powersports has tubes and seals for sale, doesn't say who made them though. Are there any other options for new fork tubes? I have heard mixed reviews on...

There are some decent options out there for those of us who have a coil die. But I am curious if anyone has tried adapting one of the modern coil-on-plug design coils to their vintage ride. These new coils produce much higher energy spark and that would have to help. They are small units and...
I am trying my hand at a little metal forming to make my own seat and cowl. I can make a tuck in the metal, but as I try to hammer the tuck out, I get a fold in the aluminum and can't get where the metal folded to hammer out. It is leaving a crack for lack of a better term in the metal. What am...
I picked up a headlight assembly from an old Bridgestone a little while back. I really like the housing. It has the speedo mount in the rear of it. The problem I am having is it has the original bulb in it and it is 5 1/4" bulb. The bulb works but I know it's days are numbered. Does anyone have...
So My money and time have been occupied by another project lately. I was given a super beetle by an older lady. It was her husband's car when he passed 6 years ago.
When I first saw it, it was covered in dust, had two flat tires, and a dead battery. So I put air in the tires and a battery...
I have been lurking and studying here for way too long. It is time to start a build thread for my little scoot. So, here is the starting point 1970 cb450k3
I rode her like this for about a year and a half and didn't have any major problems. All I had done to this point was rebuild the carbs...
and I have a couple of questions. Tank came off of a gs1100 and is going on my cb450. I like the looks of the tank and mounting it will be easy. first question is, what is the best way for getting a key for the gas cap? locksmith? can the local dealer cut me one? second question, getting rid of...
