Can't remember if the neutral light worked earlier. Just have to trace the neutral wire to the switch/relay I guess. Adding the diode to the circuit sounds easy enough. I'll give that a try.
So I bought some new gauges from Dimecity and threw them on my 1980 CB650 , but can't seem to get the neutral light to work? Also all my blinkers are blinking when I switch one or the other on? Anyone have any idea about fixing these problems?
Finally found a kit. Haven't called to make sure they have it in stock but will soon. Doesn't come cheap but the '80 Honda CB650 carb kit is hard to find.

Do you know if this kit will fit the 1980 Honda CB650? I contacted dime city and they told me I might want to do a little research. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Actually never ordered one. Haven't had time to work on my bike. I'm wondering if the kit in the link cxman posted would work for my 1980. May need to contact dime city cycles to figure out.
Needing a rebuild kit for my carbs on my 1980 Honda CB650
Just wondering if anyone out there had some good resources as to where to find the kits.
I found this site: http://www.newmotorcycleparts.com/fuel_system_parts/carb_kit_hon.html
The picture of the white cb750 is almost exactly the look Im going for on the seat and the rear fender. Would you recommend modifying the seat pan I have or just starting a new one from scratch. If I start a new one, money will be lost, but its more important to me that I get the look I m going...
This is my honda cb650. Currently in the process of trying to figure out how to finish off the tail end of the bike and make it look like it belongs there. Because the seat is shaped the way it is (made a custom seat pan) I have somewhat of a bulge at the end of the bike. Any suggestions on how...

Got it. Fuses are friends. Going to study a little more and see if I want to dive into this project. If not, I may call on Sonreir to do me a custom harness.
Thanks for the input. That info definitely gives me a start. Just not sure I'm capable of doing a whole wiring harness myself. I can make sense of it all but not sure I have the hands on knowledge. And unfortunately don't have a mentor that's experienced in electrical on bikes.
I have a wiring harness that's in bad shape. Lots of the wires disconnected from each other and some are just destroyed. I thought it would be best to do a whole new wiring harness but not sure I'm capable. I've read several of the electrical posts in the forum and feel like I have a pretty good...
Might have something to do with the amp hours the battery is rated for. I have a 1980 Honda CB 650 and I'm in search of a good battery also. I believe I m just going to have to go with a pretty large one and do the best I can to hide it. Let me know though if you get a smaller battery working...
