    CV carbs and pod filters

I think jap scrap just built a cool looking bike and must know enough about what he is doing to make it function and ridable on the road and not have to ride an ugly stock bike. Who cares if it dosent make max horse power, that bike was obviously not built for the track. If it was he wouldn't be...

    question about brake switch CB360

This is a normally closed pin from radio shack. It has a weird 7mmx1 or 7x0.75 thread that I actually had a tap for but know idea why.

    question about brake switch CB360

here is a standard perch with a micro switch I added to run a brake light with drum brake. Those old inline cable switches are junk and hard to find.

How to tune CM400/CB450 carbs for pods and a less restrictive exhaust.

"3 jet Kei-Hin carbs have fuel flow through primary main jet to pilot/slow jet so total fuel doesn't increase with increase in pilot jet size" so your saying the pilot feeds from the main and then shuts off when the needle opens? Is it a vacuum issue that would starve the pilot?

    CR500 , 2 stroke hardtail chopper project

Yeah I've never had a dirt bike not run going up steep hills or over jumps but i also didn't worry about fuel spilling out of them either. You've still got a pretty cool looking project going. I like those 500 two strokes. I heard a big thing now is putting them in CRF450 frames for a special...

How to tune CM400/CB450 carbs for pods and a less restrictive exhaust.

No one ever mentions in these post about jetting to big of jet size (or over carbing) other than it seems to be running rich. When you way over jet it will cause you to lose top end or bog at top end of rpm range. This would be like going from a 108 main to a 180 main. Sometimes its easier to...

    CV carbs and pod filters

Glad to see people making these work. Too many people get a hot head with people who want to use pods. If you can make it work do it, if it looks cool do it, if it pisses off some jerk do it.

    CR500 , 2 stroke hardtail chopper project

I cant tell from the pics but did you change the engine mounts to level the engine out or is it rocked back with the front of the frame? I only ask because the carbs may have an issue sitting at a weird angle.

I just did one of these about a month ago. Got the form, had to use kbb for value because an invoice for amount was not good enough and had to go to 4 different SOS offices before they would do it then got btched at for buying something without title and told not to do it again and they track...
