So I went to set the timing after wiring up my project, and turning the alternator will not pass a certain random point in the rotation. I It's almost like there was something stuck between the gears and it just "clunks" to an abrupt halt...It does *not* get stuck -- I can turn it freely...

Hey all, I've checked all I can think of, but I can't get the right cylinder to fire. Left side is running great and plug looks a good color, but pulling the right could wire off that plug doesn't change idle, and pulling the plug it is NOT fouled...nor wet with gas. Carbs: Tore carbs apart...
